Welcome to Fort Collins' local veterinary hospital

  • In February of 1997, Dr. Cat Cross and three staff members opened Friendship Hospital for Animals, a 1600-square foot veterinary hospital in the Oakridge Shopping Center in Fort Collins, Colorado.
  • In March of 1997, Friendship passed the rigorous American Animal Hospital Association review and became the youngest accredited member in the United States.
  • In August of 2000, through Fort Collins's community support, Friendship moved across the street and opened the doors to a state-of-the-art, 4,000-square foot veterinary hospital facility.
  • In April of 2008, Friendship was awarded the highest level of AAHA accreditation, one which is given to only 5% of veterinary hospitals in the United States. Friendship became one of a small group of Fort Collins' local veterinary hospitals with the award.
