We proudly support the Fort Collins Cat Rescue and their dedication to the welfare of all cats and kittens in our community.  Recently, they hosted their winter fundraiser, “Chat Amour III” and we donated a “Once-in-a-Lifetime” Junior Vet for a Day experience.  The lucky winner will spend a day with our doctors and team members participating in patient appointments, observing treatments and procedures, performing lab work...an amazing experience for a young person with an interest in the veterinary profession!

This year's Chat Amour III was a huge success for Fort Collins Cat Rescue, raising over $38,000!  After some eager bidding at the event, we recently had the pleasure of hosting Caitlin as Junior Vet For the Day! Caitlin is a current college student and hopes to pursue a career in veterinary medicine in the future.
Caitlin enjoyed watching the imaging modalities we have, particularly ultrasound.  Some of you may have met her in rooms as she shadowed us through some consults.  She even tried her hand at fecal parasite identification! We had a great time taking her through a hospital day and we wish her the best for the future!
