Friendship Hospital for Animals understands how important chiropractic care can be when included as part of a multi-modal pain plan. We are pleased to announce Dr. Alisha Jacobs, DC will be available on-site to assess and treat chiropractic discomfort for not only our Friendship family, but also referral clients from the surrounding areas.
Appointments are currently available from 10 am to 2 pm Tuesday and Thursday. If needed, Dr. Jacobs would be happy to accomodate you outside those hours with adequate notice.
Unsure if chiropractic care is right for your fluffy friend? Dr Jacobs says:
“Animals often suffer from the same conditions people do but sometimes have a harder time showing us that they hurt. If your pet has had trouble getting up and down the stairs, trouble rising, limps, drops food, or yelps when being picked up, chiropractic care can help! Chiropractic care is safe and effective for pets of all ages whether they be an accomplished athlete or your favorite couch potato. The goal of chiropractic care is to help the body move better, function better, and be healthier.”
Dr. Jacobs is a certified animal chiropractor by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association. She attained her bachelor's degree in Zoology from Colorado State University and her Chiropractic Doctorate degree from the University of Western States in Portland, OR. Dr. Jacobs then attended post-doctoral training in veterinary chiropractic care at Parker University in Dallas, TX. To learn more about Dr. Jacobs, visit her website at Tails Animal Chiropractic Care.
