We recommend that rabbits and other small mammals have examinations twice yearly. Since "pocket pets" such as rats, mice, guinea pigs, hamsters and gerbils only have a lifespan of 2-4 years, and rabbits usually 5-8 years, many health issues can arise in a short period of time.

In addition to the comprehensive services provided for regular annual exams, our small companions will receive special attention including:
- Their continuously growing teeth will be examined for any abnormal alignment that may be creating tooth or jaw pain or difficulty eating.
- The nails and fur will be carefully examined for overgrowth, hair loss, or parasites.
- Your pet's home environment, diet, and nutritional needs will be evaluated and suggestions provided in order to help them live a long, healthy life.
