Kim

I have lived in Colorado since the age of 12. I am a long time client of Dr. Cross and have worked at Friendship Hospital for Animals for over 10 years. I enjoy doing outdoor activities like walking my dogs and exercising. I am an avid gardener and take joy in arts and crafts like rubber stamping, sewing and cross stitching. My commitment to animals has brought plenty of returned love at home.

Lisa

I came to Colorado for college in 1985 and have been here ever since, living in Northern Colorado since 1995. I have been a life-long animal lover and my pets have included hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, chinchillas, mice, bunnies, a chicken, cats and dogs. I have worked in different capacities with veterinary clinics and humane societies in the past.I joined Friendship Hospital for Animals in August 2011 where I am pleased to work with and for so many other friends of animals.

Monique

Summer of 2012 my husband, youngest daughter, and I moved to Fort Collins from the Pacific Northwest.  My plan of being a stay-at-home mom quickly became too quiet so I joined the Friendship team.  In Washington I managed a veterinary practice for over 10 years, raised five children, owned a photography business, and of course cared for many animals from fish to chickens to dogs.  I look forward to meeting more people here, lots of photography, taking our teardrop trailer out camping, and letting my two dogs Libby & Papy live out their golden years in the lap of luxury.

Bree

Hi, my name is Bree.  I am a Colorado native.  I was born right here in Fort Collins.  I have forever been an animal lover.  I have a mini schnauzer named Bozz and 3 cats, Wellington, Tahkenna and Throttle, which all mean the world to me.  I have always had pets ranging from dogs, cats, turtles, fish, rats and ferrets.  I joined the Friendship family January of 2013, which I absolutely love.  I have had various jobs from boarding, assisting veterinarians and receptionist.  I am also a hair stylist.  In my free time you will find me outside fishing, camping, hiking or spending time with my family and friends.

Certified Veterinary Technicians

The technicians that are employed at Friendship are certified by state-accredited educational institutions. Our Certified Veterinary Technicians are behind the scenes performing lab tests, monitoring anesthesia, dispensing prescriptions, and nursing your pet when they stay with us. These individuals have attended higher education courses to be able to answer any questions you may have and provide the best possible care for your pets.

Jen

All of the technicians at Friendship Hospital for Animals are either Certified or RegisteredHi my name is Jen, I have been a Certified Veterinary Technician since 2007 and with the Friendship Family since January of 2008.  I enjoy being a technician and my passion lies with surgery and anesthesia.  I have a 3yr old Heeler mix named Taylor who goes with me everywhere and is truly my best friend.  I also have a Chinchilla named Cooper and a Tiger salamander names Sam.  It is quite the zoo around my   house.  My interests outside of work include traveling, hiking, camping, and especially snowboarding.

Leah

Hi. My name is Leah and I've been working with animals since 2001. I've worked in boarding kennels, shelters, and animal hospitals. I became a certified technician in 2006, shortly before joining the Friendship team. After almost three years here, I moved to New Mexico with my husband. As soon as we returned to Fort Collins with our cat Sully and two little boys, I came back to Friendship because I believe we are the best in Fort Collins! I love coming to work every day and providing excellent care to our patients and clients. When I am not at work, I'm usually taking my kids to the park, or on a hiking adventure. I dabble in fiber art and love to read in my spare time.

Heather

Hi, my name is Heather! I am a certified veterinary technician with the State of Colorado. I am one of the small animal anesthetists and surgery technicians here at Friendship Hospital for Animals. Animal dentistry is one of my greatest passions in veterinary medicine and I hope to someday specialize in the field. Until then, I love caring for and bonding with the many different animals and clients that walk through our doors.
At home, I am enjoying life as a newlywed with my husband Tony. Together we have a furry and feathered family of two dogs (red heeler Bode, and husky mix Sauza), a handsome cat (Tsavo), and a very snuggly Goffin Cockatoo (Max). In our free time we ski, race, and try to be outdoors as much as possible!

Kim

Hi, my name is Kim. I am proud to say I am a Fort Collins native who decided to switch careers in 2001 and follow my passion into veterinary medicine. I graduated from Front Range Community College's Veterinary Technology program in 2006. I have been rescuing injured wildlife and stray animals since the day I could walk (my poor parents found bunnies, birds, squirrels, snakes, and kittens hidden in my bedroom, to name a few). I am now owned by four rescue cats; Rufflepuff, Bear, Pickle, and Grim, and wouldn't have it any other way!

Chelsea

Hello my name is Chelsea. I recently graduated from Pima Medical School with an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology and I passed the National Exam to become a certified tech in April of 2012.  Unfortunately I do not have any fuzzy friends at home but I do own a charismatic hermit crab named Maggie.  Caring for animals is my passion in life and I believe it is important to love and care for every pet that walks through our door as if they were my own.  I am blessed to work a hospital that believes the same thing and I cannot imagine achieving my career goals anywhere else!

Lara

Hi my name is Lara Fetterolf. I have been a certified veterinary technician since 2009. I graduated from Front Range Community College with an Associates in Applied Science Veterinary Technology.
